Methodology

How CSLab evaluates information.

CSLab separates verified facts, community consensus and our own research notes so players can understand how confident each claim is.

CSLab Research Method Alpha

Research standard

CSLab is built around research-first content. We do not want to publish claims only because they sound exciting, are popular on social media or support an investment narrative.

When possible, we compare multiple sources, inspect market context and separate facts from CSLab opinion.

🧪 CSLab Standard

A useful page should help users understand what is known, what is uncertain and what still needs verification.

Information confidence

Label
Meaning
How to read it
Verified Fact Information supported by reliable mechanics, documentation or strong source agreement. High confidence
Community Consensus Widely accepted by experienced traders, collectors or known community resources. Strong but contextual
CSLab Research Our interpretation based on market behavior, collector relevance and available evidence. Analytical opinion
Speculative Early signal, theory or trend that should not be treated as certainty. Use caution

How ratings work

CSLab ratings are not official market values. They are internal research indicators meant to help users compare collector relevance, risk, liquidity and investment context.

Rating
Evaluates
Used for
Collector Score Historical importance, recognition and collector demand. Research pages
Investment Score Long-term relevance, risk, scarcity and demand context. Investment research
Liquidity Score How realistically an item can be sold without extreme delay or discount. Market context

Review methodology

Marketplace and tool reviews should focus on practical user risk, not promotional language. We look at security, fees, liquidity, usability, withdrawal options, transparency and support.

Affiliate separation

Partnerships should not decide review conclusions. Sponsored relationships must stay separate from CSLab's research and review standards.

Updates and corrections

Counter-Strike markets change. Prices, platform features, community opinions and collector demand can move over time, so important pages should be reviewed and updated when needed.

Correction policy

If a reader notices inaccurate or outdated information, CSLab should welcome corrections and review them seriously.
